About this website
BardosThodolWorks.com was originally started on October 13th, 2022 after running into numerous problems attempting to post personal artwork online and becoming frustrated having worked for weeks on very high resolution pieces only to have their image/video quality downsized and distorted when released on SM platforms. By the time AI generative programs were infused into these platforms, with the stipulation that they were allowed legal rights to uploaded user content (and therefore artwork posted on their platforms) for their own purposes, including LLM’s and their own derivative works, our path was made clear to develop our own platform free of AI. A platform that would accurately represent the artwork, music, and visuals made by advanced artists. At this point we even have protections in our own policies that legally prevent AI from stealing the works uploaded here. Posting blurry images (for a product that is the image) to sell became mostly pointless. We believe art should be free and belong to the artist’s that make them, while being able to provide a way to craft a living through their own creations.
This space will evolve naturally to support artists and the integrity of artwork moving into the digital age.
About Bardos
I’ve been intently focused on making artwork since 2010, I seriously began when I was 18, after making the decision to direct my life this way one day, a long time ago. I use to make little sketches on the border of homework while blasting electronic music, I loved jamming on the guitar and started beatboxing everyday because it was fun, almost addicting. Whatever I’m up to now is whatever that has evolved into, I’ve always gotten distracted but I’ve never lost vision of this one goal over the years.
Most of the artwork I create is a combination of physical sketching, painting, 3d modeling, 3d rendering, photography, digital painting and editing. Sound design is either live looping, acoustic recordings, produced tracks or a combo of the three.
Some of the programs and hardware I currently use:
Blender, Ultra Fractal, Unreal Engine, Mandlebulb 3d, DAZ Studio, GIMP, G’MIC, Inkscape, Krita, digiKam, kDenLive, Natron, Darktable, FFmpeg, TiXL, Vimix
