If you’re curious what we’re up to, we’ve been running around offline for a week or two setting up our new place and getting ready in general. Bardos has a mix that’s being organized utilizing all sorts of audio material from the past 8 years that is currently sitting at around 59 minutes. This needs a solid polishing and some transition work and it’ll be ready to perform as a DJ set to begin with – with live looping and instruments being added as time goes on. We’ll be promoting this mix in person after getting it mastered while busking this fall as we send it to venues/record producers. We’ll be showing some glimpses of un-released beats and reworked tracks over the next couple of weeks.

Bardos isn’t busking currently because the temps in Arizona are hitting 110+ degrees during the day right now which makes busking difficult – not so much because it’s hard to make music in the heat, but more so there are very few people out and about to listen to it during the day. Performing at night would be better but we’re still unaccustomed to the area so fall will be a better time to introduce ourselves to Phoenix as a street performer – in the meantime Bardos is continuosly practicing and constantly getting better (it’s all practice folks). Many of the art/crafts/vendor fairs and events are also seasonal due to the heat, most of which pick back up in September/October which we’ll be fully prepared for.

We’re making some moves with money and should have a little bit of funding in the next month or so for updated printing capabalities and some better hardware to stream what we’re doing, likely on Twitch, which we’d like to start sharing as long as the gremlins following us around behave themselves.

In other news, Bardos has recently come across a large Pokemon card collection that he actually collected himself as a kid that’s been sitting untouched in an attic for the last 20 years, along with some Magic cards and Sports cards. Shout out to Moms for finding it in the old family home. Upon price checking and examining these cards, which are all from the first 5 sets ever released in America during 1999 (as well as some Japanese cards given by an old friend), we’ve decided to not only enter the actual collectibles market, but also start a collectibles section through our own store and website. BTW is all about collectibles and it’s a certain sweet sense of irony that we’ll now be able to collect/ trade other IP’s collectibles parallel to continue developing our own, especially collections that inspire our own creations.
